Why on earth would this not come with the power supply? One would think that if you need two power supplies you plan to charge two batteries at the same time. This would mean, you would an AC cable. Why would anyone not need that? What am I missing?
Thanks!

Not really.

It enables DJI to market the power supply/charger worldwide without region specific concerns regarding socket/plug pin orientations.

It means keeping the cost down and being able to ship any consignment of chargers to anywhere.

Everyone has several 'figure eight' leads laying around in their home getting tangled up in a drawer somewhere!

Well now THAT does make sense. Here I was thinking they are just evil giants wanting all of our money. So, there must be a European version as well then. So, if you travel over there and live here you may want the extra cord. One cord of our choice (European, American, etc) should at least come with the unit. Shady!

Here's an easy solution/idea, and it saves you carrying around your power cord in the storage box too..
Now having said that, mine came with a local plug.

Sorry failed to mention that part. Its the pull off plug adaptor that is used on the apple chargers. Not everyone uses Apple, but they are really only USB power supplies. Cheap on eBay if you don't have them lying around already. Also you could buy one for the country you might be visiting ;) hope that helped.
