Can't speak for non-Apple devices as I have no experience with them but you can do it with Apple devices. I ordered one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/produc ... 0?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it worked like a charm, I used regular lightning cable to connect to to my iPhone
it is not recommended but according to Customer service it does not void warranty either. my spark tried to fly away with the otg so i wont use mine until it is fully supported but since DJISusan says, "its not fully tested", then that obviously means they are planning on supporting it very soon so i would wait if i were you.
Thor i don't think that OTG cable made your spark fly away LOL people fly with otg everyday.... Maybe coincidence because you were using it but I don't think so anyway to the guy with the OnePlus 3 u have to hookup the remote last. So start spark then remote. Wait for the remote light to go green hook up your phone then plug into a remote last. App should start.

Hi, Have you checked the flight log for the flyaway reason. I don't think OTG can cause flyaway. In the following video you can see the guy flew ~3km with OTG, and RTH flawlessly

the first time it worked great. the second and third time not so much. it did not disconnect it just went into atti mode and started to fly away and said it was going to fly through a NFZ. i know the chances of OTG being the cause of this is low but after 70 flights this is the first time it happened and i has no problems before starting to use OTG. so for now i will wait just in case.
I have been using my Spark with the OTG cable since day 1 (Iphone 6S). I found the best way to get the cable to work is to first power on the drone. Then power on the controller. Once the controller LED is green then connect the OTG cable to your mobile device. iPhone will pop up a warning that the cable is not supported but it works great in my case. I just ignore the pop-up and hit ok. I use DJI Go 4 and Litchi Beta with little to no problems.
i dunno, tried everything. My phone is just charging the controller when i connect to it. Tried developers settings. Swithing usb modes. Nothing helps... weird.
