After 3+ months I decided to open my p2v+ v3 to check condition of components inside...it seems all quiet good to me after a close inspection with a led lamp. The only thing that I don't like is the red wire of the top right ESC (mine are 2.0 I think and no yellow mark on capacitors [emoji20] ) that make an hard curve. I'll share pictures, any suggestion or advice is welcome and appreciate...thanks guys

I see the wire you're talking about. It's bent at a 90 right at the solder point. I would leave it alone. If you straighten it out I think it will stress the wire and make it weak.

I second that and in addition stop the wires from moving at the solder joint or replace them with multi strand wire.

There has been much debate about this and without going over it again it is better to address it with such a simple fix than have to do an extensive repair should you have a failure.

Thanks for the answers, well I absolutely avoid to touch this red wire on the top right ESC even if is completely different positioned compared to the others esc wires. Like you said I think that try to position it like the others can make it weak or even broke it and unfortunately I don't have the skills to make 20 solders to change wires and want to keep my p2v+ v3 under warranty.  Hope everything goes well.

Did you know you can raise the length of the control sticks to make a more refined turn, smoother and slower?  The sticks are in 2 parts on the threads.  Just loosen them, move the top to about 2 threads from coming off and move the bottom part to lock it there.

It will give you a more precise control in turns with less movement of the sticks.  It does work.

Sometime the main root cause of non smooth turns is the tremor of my hand, mostly when i see my bird far over the water...i've to be positive and think that will not happen

PS: done! ;)

The only difference from flying over water or land is the sound it makes when it hits the surface,  splash or crash.

Hi guys, which is the fastest way to completely discharge batteries each 20 flights?

The fastest way would be to fly them down.  When they get low, just keep the bird in a low hover until 8%.

But the bird will trigg RTH isn't it?

What I do is fly the battery until only the two lights are lit, then land and change batteries.  I do this with all batteries (I have 4).

Then when I get home I hook the bird up to the Mac and turn failsafe and rth off and manual on and set the altitudes at like 10 feet.  Then I go in my driveway and in manual, hover the bird about three feet off the ground until @8%.

If I want to discharge a battery faster, I leave the bird set as I do for flying and put it under straps and just fly the battery to where it needs to be.

I hope this helps, but remember, this is what I do.  I am sure others have different methods.
