Ah....I thought it didn't look like the northern ridges (camels hump, mansfield, etc.).    Really nice!

I just checked Airmap and didn't realize Manchester Center was an open area - very cool.   Do you know if the Green Mountain National Forest qualifies as a national park, or is it legal to fly there?  It doesn't appear to be a NFZ on Airmap.   I bought my Mavic for foliage season - looking for some good places to fly.

Manchester sits in a broad glacial valley with the Taconic mountains on the west and the Greens to the east. The Green Mountain National Forest is as it says. It is not a National Park so I think you should be good.

cool - very nice shot. i was flying over a village and a fog swept through - admittedly it was a bit further than i could see but i think i went though the fog some - at about that time i had some reception issues with my mavic - was wondering if you experianced anything similar

I did not have any issues with reception. I stayed mostly away from direct contact with the fog. Thank you.
