My photos are not showing up.

Videos show up fine, it operates likes its taking the photo but nothing shows up on the sd card or in the app.
I did recently clip a tree branch and it fell around 5 metres to the ground. No visible damage though. Wondering if this could be the reason or is this a problem others have had??

Try some testing with the Phantom.
No need to fly or put props on.
Just power it up on your desk and connect with the controller and take a few photos to see what's happening or not happening.

I have tried that too
The videos pop up straight away in the app but photos don't appear at all.

I have the same problem maybe, keeping track of my photos, videos, and what device there on, how to access them and get them to my laptop HD or UHB flash. This may help, After a flight I take pixs and a video. I found the pix are in my flight statistic. But I can't find them anywhere else. I'll figure it out. I use a android TabA.

The only place to find your videos and stills ins on the SD card.
You'll find them inside the DCIM folder in a folder called 100MEDIA

I would recommend you to backup all data and format the SD card to take pictures again. If no helps, please send us a short video for further assistance.

I tried formatting the sd card but no luck
I also tried another sd card that i have but still no photos saving to that one.
i will try and upload a video of whats going on.

Yea ive looked in their. Its only the videos that are appearing in it. Ive tried going direct from the drone to my macbook as well but still nothing

Your Phantom must save images to the SD card - there's no other way for it to work.
Are you sure you are actually taking stills?

To take stills, you have to set the camera to stills which would give you a big red circle screen trigger.
When your camera is set to video, it has a red square screen trigger.
With the camera set to stills, press the trigger and you should see an animation run around the red trigger button as the image file gets written to the SD card.

How much of that can you follow with your Phantom?

Yea i know how it works. Its been fine up until the last few weeks.
Its certainly in stills. White circle button for stills and red circle for video.
The capacity of the sd card that shows on the screen doesnt even change when i try to take an image, but it reduces when i start a video.
This has me stumped. Ive rang a few drone repairers (closest to me is an hour and a half drive)
They've never heard of it doing this.

I ended up sending it to a drone repair shop nearby.
They have found that its the remote that is the problem.
After pairing it with a different remote everything worked fine.
Thankyou for you help though.

Hi there, what's the model of the drone, please? Please try to format the SD card or change a different card to isolate the problem.

Did you try format the SD card in copter yet?  If formatting SD card fails then the cam has a software or hardware issue.
Format that card with Fs FAT32 up to 32GB and more GB with extFAT.

Make sure you are looking at the SD card and have the sort option to sort by date, not file type.  I found I had it set for file type and didn't realize the jpg were down the list and I had not scrolled far enough to find them.

I get the same problem. Can you show me how to repair the remote
