I am trying to connect RC with 2.4GHz. i got it successfully few times at home. but when i am out for fly. it always connect 5.8GHz
how you put spark connect to the phone after connect to RC ? I have to make 3 beep reset to connect to the phone. after connect to the phone and switch it to 2.4GHz. it reboot and connect at 2.4GHz. I turn off wifi on the phone. connect Spark to RC either trie 1 beep or 2 beep button. but when it connect. it should 5.8GHz and channel 13 always. I am almost give up on Spark. It can't fly further than 60M...

Please try to reset the RC's WiFi, hold the power button of RC for 9 seconds until you heard the sound after powering up. You can also try to change the frequency on WiFi Settings, connect all together, launch app, enter device, upper right icon, WiFi icon, select a channel in 2.4GHz.

1. power on spark. did 9s reset. connect to phone. select setting to 2.4 and channel
2. 3s been once. did 3 button pairing mode. didn't connected
3. restart smart. power on press power for 3 sec and do 3 buttonn trick and connect to spark with RC.
4. plug in otg cable. it show 5.8 not 2.4

Why does not it remain in 2.4 ghz after changing battery or restarting the drone?

What mobile device are you using? Could you please try another device to test and provide us with the whole process of this case?

The drone will select and stay at the best channel automatically once it was initiated. So if you find that it doesn't remain in the last channel you selected, it means the drone itself finds a better channel.
