I personally think that your gimbal is recognized your current value as the balance (mid position) value which is not supposed to be, so when you calibrate it, it will also tilt instead of going back to the mid position, just a thought. So if I am right, this should be sent back for repair then, thanks for your understanding.
Thanks Thor, but now I'm confused again. I have tried calibrating the gimbal two ways:
1) Set gimbal roll adjustment to 0, then calibrate. After complete, I still need to adjust to 0.7 for level horizon.
2) Adjust gimbal roll to 0.7, then calibrate. After complete, gimbal roll adjustment stays at 0.7, horizon is level. If I then set gimbal roll to 0, horizon is not level.
In a previous post you said that a gmbal roll of less than 10 is normal. I'm at 0.7. Why now do you think my gimbal needs to be repaired? Should the gimbal roll adjustment ALWAYS be 0 after a calibration?
Can others weigh in here? Is your gimbal roll adjustment really at 0 after a cal? Or ever?
Thanks,
