Ok - so I'm one of the few - I always take them off ;-) I think I feel more comfortable installing them before every flight and having a proven fit of the holders into the motor. And yes I do find it a tight fit with props on inside of the fly-more-combo bag. I'd say a personal preference without any significant merit there.

Never take them off... and I am using the fly more combo bag. No problems at all.

They stay on. No need too take them off.

Looks like I am one of the few here that always take the props off. Everyone has a good point about ease of storage and not wearing out the Motor shaft.
I have always been more concerned about dirt or other stuff   getting in around the motor.
I always store my MP with soft motor protectors. I store my MP in a hard case and I have noticed that the material in the case does flake off a little.

I do not think there's any need for pull-ups, but does that reduce the useful life of the springs that hold the propellers?
