I have found it more convenient to plug in the RC cable in the phone before mounting the phone to the remote controller.
With that approach I don't need, nor want, the RC cable slider installed. I can't figure out how to remove it. Does anyone know?

If i remember correctly, I removed mine with ease by pushing the clip out, away from the center.  Push from the inside out if that makes more sense.  It does come out and you won't damage it.

If it loses, I would recommend contacting our support via email support.eu@dji.com to find if there is a solution.
