I have lower left in the display a constant jerks in the direction of the red arrow. Updated the latest update on the CR and the compass again
calibrated.  The jerking is unfortunately not gone. what else can I do?

I have this problem too and calibrating the CS compass does not help.
It still jerks around, and when flying I take a best guess in the middle range, and it is close.
Please help in getting this fixed, not a good thing on a premium product.

I work for a large television broadcast group with stations across the US, and everyone that has the Crystalsky is experiencing the same issue.  We are looking at buying 24 of the 7.85" CS's, but are holding off until this bug is corrected.

It is not the main issue. Mine crashes during flight 25% of the time and requires a full reboot to continue.
It's a pity, cause the device is great but not mature for a pro usage.

Dont work, calibrate compas help only for few minutes or not

The calibration process itself looks tricky. Sometimes, it says 'done' before you've started to turn the screen

You may try to reset the CrystalSky to factory default firstly and then calibrate the compass.

I have done that and it is still jerky.
The needle jumps all over the place.

Hi  Mindy, I was wondering if it possible to disable the display of the radar, on the screen.
I ask the question in case this would have an effect to decrease the CPU load of the CS, and increase the FPS of the video link
To be honest, for me this compass issue is a minor issue, compared to the CS crash's I get very often with the Inspire Pro.

I purchased the 7.85" crystalsky about 4 weeks ago. I'm experiencing very poor video reception.  I can't fly anymore than about 1,000 feet before experiencing poor signal and a smearing and lagging of the video image, as well as the dancing compass.  All firmware is updated properly.  I have been trying to work out the bug flying from a practice site that I have used for years with all Dji equipment without this type of issue.  

I purchased the monitor to use during a pro shoot for JEEP on the Rubicon Trail in Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago.  The monitor failed me during a critical shot that made for a very unhappy client and damaging my reputation!

I paid a premium for the monitor and to have such poor performance is incredibly disappointing. DJI please help!

To be honest, this compass issue is not the worst... I've also crash issues, and some lag (compared to an Iphone). Fortunately, I'm not a pro...
I'm quite disappointed as well by the lack of support from DJI, on this product which is obviously not  -how to say...-  at the right level for production.It's a pity, because the display itself is nice.

My 7.85 has jerks which could be absent sometimes. I used P4p p3p and mavic and even used dual remote with another Crystalsky of my fried. Both have the same behaviour. Support of dji and flagship store offers to send it back. But this is certainly not an isolated issue.

Hi, guys, bad news, the 7.85 inch CrystalSky still needs to be sent in for further analysis if the compass keeps jerking after calibration. It cannot be fixed remotely at present, really sorry for the trouble caused.

After updating to V02.03.00.00, the compass jerking is gone on my 5.5". It's not 100% perfect, but waaayyy better than the previous firmware version.
