I am looking into the dji fly safe map at https://www.dji.com/flysafe/no-fly and I notice a huge Enhanced Warning Zone covering almost 1/3 of The Netherlands.

No Fly Zone MTA

No Fly Zone MTA

It has a title: MTA ROUTE 10A.
Now I don't know what it stands for, but I know the area quite well, but there is nothing that important there.
The smal airpoirt (just little airplanes) is only showing up as a 'Warning zone'. (disabled in the picture)

So my 3 questions are:
1. Can these Enhanced Warning Zones be temporary? (the title Route... sounds like that)
2. As far as I read, you can still fly there when you agree upon the warning that is shown (no permit required). Is that correct?
3. How often will you get this warning: once per flight (on startup) or more often?

1. Yes, this could be.
2. Yes, you can fly there when confirm the popup.
3. You will see it before take off.

That's something new for me as well. I usually use  https://kadata.kadaster.nl/dronekaart/ as that is official government map.

Yes, I checked that also, but then I read about Spark giving notices and dove into their no fly zone system.
But I noticed very large warning area's with strange names (to me at least).
Maybe military and I think they are changing also, as there is another big one right now that was not there some hours ago.
But if you can still fly, it is ok of course.

Given that it has the term "route" in it lets see if it goes away in a day or two... it sounds temporary.

Please keep us informed.. I'm curious too.... got that message yesterday in Bolsward (which is far from any airport).

It's weird, since... I live near Amsterdam, where you can't fly at all, but.... if you go to the beach, you only get a 'warning', while... you really see planes flying by (ok, pretty high already, between 1.5-2km)...
In Friesland, Groningen and Drente ... you mostly see nothing in the air...

It is strange that the maps of the government (kadaster) differs from the map from DJI, which makes it extremely difficult to figure out if it's alright to fly somewhere... if you combine them, ... you can hardly fly anywhere which is ridiculouse, since, even flying low is not allowed.... (and most airtraffic has to be above 300meters, which is already pretty high for a drone).

I just got a reply from DJI stating I can agree on these warnings.
So I replied that I would like to know the origin of this zone since it makes absolutely no sense and works counter effective.
You will always get a warning and you agree without thinking / reading since it is always there.
That way when something is there to warn about, you won't notice.
To be continued

Too bad, even my follow up got an avoiding answer.
We don't specify the reason for a warning zone...
Just fly and ignore the message.

I really don't get this kind of reaction.
Be aware of something we won't tell you about.
Strange policy.

Not a big issue, since you can ignore it, but a strange way of dealing with a sincere question.

Thanks for the advice. As soon as they add 25fps I will for sure.
Until then I will be saving more for a Mavic.

Last try, no clear reason for the warning zone.
DJI just won't tell me.
No big deal of course, but it would be nice to know where it originates from.
