I notice in the app once you get going faster than 2.9m/s the meter starts to go red.... I'm guessing this an indication the bird can get caught in VRS...

I wonder if DJI could allow a setting to be set to limited vertical descend speed?... This would be a welcomed setting...

VRS is most predominant in a vertical descent and slow lateral speed. Pretty sure in this case that it has nothing to do with VRS.
