Hi, I am seeing somebody offering 'modified' Sparks on a marketplace in The Netherlands.
He claims higher speed, no NFZ limitations, faster RTH, better obstacle avoidance, more max height / range etc.
I am for sure NOT planning on buying from him (or any other modified Spark) but does anybody here have experience with this?
How do they hack into Spark, is that even possible and is it even legal?
I don't know wether it is allowed here to speak about it, so I don't will give you any link.
But Google will give the answers when you search for "dji assistant debugging".
You also find youtube video from 50% higher speeds in sport mode.
But I am just not so sure, that these hacks will be usable under the new firmware.
Which means: In can be that after the 1.September even the "Spark on Speed" will get back to max. ~50 km/h

The only 'hack' I would every consider would be the ability to use USA values of transmitter power to guarantee good safe communication out to the EU maximum distance of 500m.

Please notice that we would not recommend you buy modified Spark as it has no warranty when our product are modified or removed by third party.
I for sure don't intend to buy this.
No way Jose.
Not with all the issues that we are reading about here.
Bye bye support.
And I actually don't see the need for a hack, maybe just one that improves the RC control. Not to fly further away, but to have better control over your AC.
Since I'm living in Europe, the signal is not as good as it could be..
But then again, that would be against EU regulations. So not very clever to do either.
