and technically speaking DJi Go 4 app is a potential security concern in how it handles data and logging, that is why it will get detected. it basically has a backdoor built in is how security will see it
What if someone use their backdoor to inject code of some kind to do something without your knowledge the same way they disable your Spark. I have seen the Intelligent battery turned on by itsself without me double pressing the power button. That is another way to turn DJI aircraft on. Then it can perform hidden mission. Will this be a "threat"?
I suppose Trend Micro detects possible vulnerabilities and known communication types that are potential threats.
Not sure what exactly triggers Trend to give this warning, but I think it is the way the app communicates with it's servers.
I could see it as a security threat. I posted before and received few responses. The app on android at least keeps saving "log" files 4 to 9 files everyday. Even when I don't use the app. Within the file it states "connect" and some other line of "URL". Why would it be connecting to anything when I am not using the app. http://forum.dji.com/thread-108572-1-1.html
