I have decided to fly my Sparky before the umbra past over and just enjoy the moment of the eclipse. I have lost track of the time and when I was landing the copter and Sun is in full eclipse. So, I decided leave it up there to enjoy the glory of it all. The location is at Hopkinsville, kentucky. Sorry about the jerky movements, I was trying to do three things at once during the eclipse.

Wow! That is AWESOME! Thanks for sharing! It was 98% here (according to the NASA website's map) 100% was significantly darker.
Thanks FatherXmas! I have to set the exposure to manual so the passing of the umbra is more noticeable. You can see the dark shadow of the umbra leaving to the east after the total eclipse. You can also see the street lights and the stadium comes on and then off.
Thanks! My Sparky flew great that day with no heckups with 15 satellites, solid WIFI signal and video feed in an observation area with hundreds of people. I did find the little flashing LED light I got off Ebay helps me with the tracking and orientation of Spark in low light situation while I take my eyes off it to perform other tasks. Thank you very much DAFLYs for this oldie but goodie. There is another one coming up in a few years that cut right through central U.S. and plenty of drones will be ready for that one.
