"Echoes" | Finally here's my first simple edited video made with the Dji Spark drone, shot in the banks of River Arade, near Portimão (Algarve, Portugal).
As a professional landscape photographer, I've found that the learning curve for properly flying a drone is much steeper than I ever thought, and video editing is a whole different beast from photo editing, with lots of interface idiosyncrasies, making me almost going mad while trying to process the footage. Since I bought the drone, these last weeks have been quite crazy, learning the ins and outs of the craft, with too little spare time available.
For the next week I just need to do some further tests, hoping that the Spark, and specially its pilot, will be able to deliver the shots on Iceland in September.
Filmed with Dji Spark Drone (1080p 30fps)

Soundtrack: "Water Lily" by Kevin Mcleod (Royalty Free, available on Incompetech)
I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has found out that it isn't as easy as I expected!! And I thought that 45 years of photography would give me a head-start!!!
