My Mavic has firmware 0700, the DJI GO is auto updated to 4.1.7.
Now at each motor start i receive this error: Your flight altitude and distance have benn limited to 30m and 50m.

Despite the warning I tried to take off and I saw that the Mavic can fly without limitation.

I posted the same problem yesterday, but I am on 0.400. Flew as far as 2km and 120 m in altitude. But it always shows the message. It is either a bug or a mandatory firmware upgrade coming up for the Mavic.

I've got the same, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, signing in and out, switching the phone off and on and it still remains.
My iPad is fine but I've not updated the app and don't intend to!

I did all that multiple times, including changing my password. If there was a restriction it would probably point to a log in problem, but since I can fly beyond the restrictions it is probably a bug or something worse on the horizon. I think I will try to downgrade dji go to 4.15 and see what happens, but only tomorrow I will have access to a pc.

Same problem on 4.1.7  and 700 firmware

People please read the info about each update before you decide to update. If it is NOT life threatening...     

DO NOT UPDATE!

Also set your phone/tablet to NOT do automatic updates!

I am having the same issue but I did not upgrade it just started  with the error

Lesson learned, do not upgrade dji go

The app is on the latest version, this message might pop up since your aircraft's firmware is a very previous version and the login info doesn't write into the main controller correctly, but it might not really restrict the drone because of that old firmware reason.
We always suggest that users update both the firmware of the drone and app to the latest update because that will be the optimization for the previous version. Thanks for your kind understanding.

Exactly the same error. But it does let me fly beyond this distance etc. Still a little worrying. I'm on firmware 4.0 and latest dji go app. Hopefully they will remove the warning for those who do not want to upgrade

After jumping through about a dozen loops I downgraded DJI Go to 4.13; but all my batteries are out of juice so I will test tomorrow.

I found a video on YouTube (Chad RC) he says to log out of DJI and log back in with the drone connected to DJI Go 4.  He said that makes the message go away.

I had the same issue with my Spark, it is a DJI bug.  After lots of searching and expirimentation i found my issue resided with the firmware update of the batteries.  In my case only the inital battery that was in my Spark updated correctly., with this battery the distance and height limitations were not there, but when i switched to any of my three other batterys that were subsequently updated the drone flight was restricted,   What worked for me was to install each of the  batteries into the drone with it powered up and sign out and back into my DJI account.  I had to do this with each battery but it resolved the issue for me when all elses failed.   Hope this helps.

I see update of DJI Go to version 4.1.9. With this version the problem is solved or remains? Someone has news?
