OK so the Inspire 1 is a PROFESSIONAL MODEL with PROFESSIONAL RESULTS? We used a Futaba 14SG with our phantoms because it had trim settings on each control surface so you could execute a smooth YAW, Ascent Desent, and on turns by just using the trim settings and increasing or decreasing the values. I was able to also control the response of the gimbal tilt in a similar manner. The Tilt and Pan are super sensitive so it is difficult to get a nice smooth gradual change on either axis. For 650.00 RC this is something that should be added or be able to set senstivity, deadband etc in the application as a menu item.
Yes the Inspire 1 is an awesome machine but we need to resolve this issue and appreciate any suggestions...

It's already in the Pilot App!

Go to RC control settings > Gimbal wheel speed >  then slide between slow and fast for your own perfect setting

It's very simple!

I found my sweet spot at the setting "30" ...

Here's some more instruction/detail on the adjustment you recommended:
Locate the little transmitter signal strength icon, then clicking "RC Control Settings". For the tilt, click on "Gimbal Wheel Speed" then take it down to around 30% for a much smoother tilt function. For smoother pan, click on "Stick EXP Curve" and adjust the "Yaw EXP curve" to 0.30 for a much smoother Yaw response.
