Hi All,

I received my P4 ADV last weekend and my camera is facing towards left instead of facing center and I have tried IMU and gimbal calibration on a flat surface but nothing seem to work.

I have tried manually rotate the gimbal in the opposite direction of the tilt until it reaches its limit, several times, but no success.

Any suggestion?

I have seen this on here more than once lately.  What you did is what the mods recommended.

Has anyone been able to calibrate in this position?

I put the aircraft in this position but the gimbal was crazy, moving to all sides and doing strange sounds. Then, I aborted.

   I have had this happen to me as well.

   The quick fix I used is removing the shell of the drone, removing the camera, manually pushing it forward, and putting it back together.
    If this doesn't work at first, try calibrating the gimball.

Please place the aircraft as below picture and do the gimbal calibration again.

Hi Susan,

Thanks for reply. Now it appears works.

But when i move the aircraft with my hands (no propellers), the camera moves to some side and keeps this position.
Is it normal?

Is this a permanent fix? I am planning on purchasing a P4A in the near future and would not like to have this problem.

Thanks for reply. Now it appears works.

Please do IMU calibration first, then calibrate gimbal as above picture to see whether it works.

If still no luck, I afraid that you may consider to send it in.

I would recommend you to go to local authorized store so that you can check and test on spot.

For me, after calibration suggested by SUSAN, my camera is centred.

Does that mean that this is an on going problem? What about people who don't have local authorize dealer, are they out of luck?
