I was curious as to how many batteries the average Spark owner has and uses on a regular basis.  I currently have three.  This buys me a good bit of flight time, but I was curous about everyone else.

I have four.  I really enjoy flying, but I'm not much of a risk taker so not much interesting video taken.  I think to get good footage you gotta risk the bird.

He meant he has 3 batteries.
2 from combo and 1 from buying it separately.I read that as 3.2 as well at first.

So many people having 3 or more....

To the people that also own a Mavic or P4.
Is it better to fly with 5 'sort fly time' Spark batteries or do you prefer to have 3 Mavic / P4 batteries that last about the same flying time but provide more time per flight?

I think it all depends how you are using the drone.

Huge advantage to the longer batteries or the Mavic of Phantom is the amount of time you can keep the drone in the air, without landing. While flight time my add up to be the same as a Spark with multiple batteries, I love being able to launch my Mavic Pro and fly it much further away to get creative shots, without having to worry about keeping it close to me to land and then swap batteries.

So for me, I use the Mavic for long range flights, and the Spark for the cool, creative close range stuff.

I only have 2 from the Flymore, so want another at least.
3 seems to be optimum as it gives you about 30mins, but obviously having more is better.

I am still a bit in doubt if Spark or Mavic is best for me,  but where I live (Netherlands) we must always stay within LOS and probably soon (depending on EU regulations as far as I know) there will be a limit like 100m from where you are standing.
So it the extra flight time would 'just' be to stay in the air longer.
Of course the Mavic has more advantages than longer flight time per battery, but this is one of them.

I have 3 and usually use all when I fly.
As someone else mentioned, number them to keep them in rotation.
If I use 2, I will start with #3 next time out

I have 5 total, 2 were unplanned as I need to send 2 to DJI for replacement due to the stuck middle LEDs during firmware upgrade and vacation is coming and I can't go with just 1 battery, after 3 weeks DJI shipped the 2 replacement (while i'm in vacation), 3 is the optimal number.

Meaning
3, 2 with combo, .....

Btw: I got 4, 2+2 ;-)
which get me an average of 45 minutes flighttime, if I'm using all 4
