Has anyone noticed that the spark (and the Mavic) will automatically follow the slope of the terrain when flying backwards and close to the ground? If i fly forward up a slope the sensors kick in and stop flight (unless in terrain mode) but if i spin it around facing backwards and go up the hill, it will not hit the ground and follow the elevated slope. I think that is really cool.

Funny you mentioned that, I noticed the same thing just yesterday on my sloped front yard, and yet I've had my Mavic for many months. The VPS system is obviously tracking the elevation, but because it's the VPS system, its elevation detection will be limited to that of the VPS system, and it only works on flat terrain with no tall (relative to the drone) obstacles...like a bush, or a tree, or a building.

A good thing to know, thanks.
