I've shot 3 motion timelapse with osmo+. All of them I used 3 recorded point. All of them before the end of time back to a center position (or maybe the intermidiate point, I cannot understand) and continued to shot some frame so the resulting video contains an incongruent scene at the end!!!

I've noticed the same thing with my DJI Mobile, it goes back center before the end of the timelapse.  I've just been planning the shots to be longer then needed and then trip the end.

I did the same, anyway it's quite annoying specially because in J+V mode you have to cut the final video

I've tested the Motion Timelapse, the video will stop before the camera comes back to a center position, there is no effect to the final video.
May I know the firmware of your Osmo+? Is it possible to upload a short video to Dropbox for further analysis?

I had the problem  with 1.5.0.90. Did you triy with 3 different points?

Problems detected and aggravated after APP / Firmware update (DJI GO 3.1.15 2017/08/25; Firmware V1.6.0.80 2017/06/05):
IPhone 6s
- Loss of connection between OSMO / iPhone
- Poor stabilization or zero
- Films in LapsTime but does not record in memory. It only records 01 second.
