I have a P4 thats driving me so crazy that I have put it away  in disgust.

When I start it up the message forward and downward sensors need calibrating, so I do this in Dji assistant 2 and it informs me that it has callibrated Ok, do a test flight works perfectly.

Put it away, 20mins later take it out to fly, and I cant take off because the sensors need callibrating, do the same proceedure again recalibrate and its all OK.

Take it out to fly, and its OK, put it away, take it out to fly and guess what, yep same thing.

Has anybody a solution for me before I cut my wrists

There's no dirt on any of the small cameras is there, or dirt/grit in the ultrasonic transducers ?

Perhaps a firmware refresh and factory reset (followed by calibrations) may make a difference.

It's odd that the calibrations don't hold. That would be frustrating, that you must keep redoing this, before each flight.
