What constitutes a battery cycle?  I connect my Phantom 2 Vision + to the computer to check the battery cycles.  I counted at least 20 uses on the battery and the battery was reporting only 14.  Does the battery have to discharge to a certain point and the fully charge to count as a cycle?  I understand about the discharging every 30 cycles, I'm not there yet.  Any thoughts?

When the total charging reaches 5200ma, then it will count as a cycle.

Hmmm blair but what happens over time when the battery capacity reduces due to normal use and it doesn't have a capacity of 5200mA anymore?
Does it just count once 100% charge level was reached no matter the available capacity and/or how far the discharge was?

It's the total volum.
For example,the first charge adding the second charge reaches 5200ma, then the first &second charge count as  one cycle.

Ich lese auch immer wieder von Problemen mit dem Akku. Scheint doch nicht so intelligent zu sein?
Bei max. 30- 40 ladezyclen schein er schon kapput zu sein...?!:@

Zwei mögliche Probleme die ein verfrühte Batterie Ladungswarnung geben.
1.  Schlechter Kontakt mit den Smartbus  Verbindungsflächen.
2. Eine Akku Zelle kaputt

Aus Neugier, bei welchem Ladungszustand landet ihr Normalerweise?  15, 20, 30 ,....%?
Habt ihr die Entladung unter 8% gemäss Gebrauchsanweisung gemacht oder öfters, weniger, gar nicht? (seit ehrlich )
Wie oft verwendet ihr die Batterien?  täglich,  wöchentlich,  hin und wieder?
In welchem Ladezustand lagert ihr die Batterien?  100, 70, 50, 30,....%?
Verwendet ihr das OEM DJI Ladegerät, DJI Ladegerät mit Multianschluss,  anderes Ladegerät?

Und das bei mir zB gleich bei 2 Akkus?
Mein 1. wurde anstandslos von DJI ausgetauscht.
Aber das kann es doch nicht sein?????

Kann dir X-User nennen, die gleiche Probleme haben!!!

1) Entladung unter 8% (Refresh) alle 20 Ladungen
2) Wenn Wetter passt, dann täglich. Sonst je nach Wetter, mehrmals wöchentlich
3) Lagerung bei ca. 50%
4) OEM DJI Ladegerät

Mir sind auch mehrere Fälle bekannt wo der Akku nach relativ wenigen Ladezyklen kaputt ging und in vielen Fällen von DJI ersetzt wurden.
Aber es scheint nicht bei allen P2 Akkus der Fall zu sein deswegen meine Fragen um zu finden ob es irgendwelche Zusammenhänge dazu gibt  

Eine Frage die du noch nicht beantwortet hasst ist wie weit du den Akku bis zur Landung normalerweise entlädst?

Not sure what you are trying to say with that link?  Yes it is a 3S2P battery and it's nothing unheard of anywhere batteries are used. Nothing really wrong with it however it doubles the chances that you can have a single faulty cell pack inside that brings the whole battery down to its knees.
Two possible reasons behind 2+P batteries  that I can think of.  For one discharge rate, putting cells in parallel doubles the possible discharge rate. Second form factor, higher capacity single cell packs tend to be longer thus may give troubles in fitting them inside the Phantom shell. Well there is a third factor, economics.  Both discharge rate and form factor could be solved by custom build cells but those cost more. Maybe DJI is selling enough of them nowadays to be able to offset the added cost of custom cells by the sales volume in future models, however custom cells could also come with an initial high failure rate ;) .
