Yesterday I received my drone back from DJI repair after suffering  camera damage from a crash. I initially had to link the remote with the aircraft, from there everything was fine. Then on my DJI app, it said I needed a firmware update. So I have attempted the firmware update several times with no luck,  it fails every time. Now I cannot even fly the drone as it says "inconsistent firmware".  I am given a warning that says "cannot take off." I have tried several more times through the DJI assistant 2, and through the app  to update with no luck. If it matters, I believe the first time I tried to update the firmware I had not re-inserted my SD card into the aircraft.  

My remote is currently on v01.03.1000

I was on chat with DJI for 2hrs last night, and just called in this morning looking for help. No one can seem to help me at DJI.

The second message "Inconsistent Firmware" is generated when your battery needs to be updated.  What happens when you slide to Update?  This message will pop up every time you insert a new battery until they have all gone through the update process.

No but it says he is still on .400 think he needs that beta fw from a moderator you have to hook up to DJI assistant 2 and then press and hold your record button while I'm dating something to the effect hopefully they will chime in here

Had a similar problem after upgrading. Tried everything. Today decided to remove Assistant 2 and reinstalling. Then upgrading again. This time there was just 1 choice to refresh and it was dated 9/1/2017. Also deleted and downloaded dji go4 again. Not sure all of that was necessary but just did a quick flight and all seems good.

I would recommend you the current firmware version, make sure it is up to date and no more firmware upgrade prompt pop out on the APP, then it should be good.
