After an incredibly hard deliberation process we have chosen the winners of the DJI + OnePlus contest. There were a huge number of submissions and it was very difficult choosing the best as there were many that at one point took the top spot. In the end, a lucky 2 needed to win. As such, the following image has won a brand new OnePlus 5 Smartphone!
User: Boyano has won the image category for his incredible image depicting Cinque Terre, "a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline."
Shot with the Mavic pro and edited with Adobe Lightroom, he needed to use multiple shots to create a vertical panorama. It features fantastic color, a strong focal point, great composition, and really captures the feel of that location.
User: pixelperspective has won the video category for his incredible project depicting Cadiz City, a city in the Phillippines.
I know 30 seconds is not a lot of time to tell a story, but this user's video utilized every second to draw me in further. As he writes "Taken with DJI Mavic Pro, PolarPro ND/PL16, ND32 post processed in Adobe Premiere CC.I always loved the sunrise here in my hometown and have always wanted to make a video about it but from a different perspective instead of the usual.
With the Mavic I can now do just that."
I know a lot of you put a lot of heart into your submissions and I greatly appreciate all everyone has done to make this contest so successful.
Runners-up in the image category:
Andy7391
"Mothership @ sunrise Brighton uk, taken with my then phantom 3 pro,(now use a mavic)edited in lightroom cc"

"DJI SPARK YELLOW. Taken at the point of Colombier in St Jean-Cap FERRAT/FRANCE.

Great choices for winners. I really do think you should do this contest more often, doesn't even have to be big prizes. It pushes us to great really great things and think outside the box
Well this was a pleasant surprise when I opened my account here. To tell the truth, a couple days ago I just celebrated my 30th birthday. Thank you DJI and OnePlus! And good job to everyone who participated here and Congratulations to the other winner and runner-ups.
Thank you for kind words! The idea was rather obvious for any nature lover like myself, but realization ... holy crap, one need good cardio exam before to get such footage . I almost lost my bird due to turbulent wind in this tunnel above creek and sudden switch to Atti mode. But it was worth the effort, indeed.
YES, more contests PLEASE... (but give us more than 30 seconds!)
Will do. Although 30 seconds was designed to giver us ample time to view all submissions, next time more time will be allotted so people can tell more of a story.
