hi... my spark got an issue, cannot fly and the message is "GPS encounters disconnect, please reset and check the connection", i was reset but still cannot fly, i want to check connection but i don't know where is the connection. any body help me....? thanks

As an addition, when did this issue start? Did anything happen before, like hard landing, crash or firmware upgrading? Like Elektra mentioned, please post a screenshot for better assistance.

You can attach a picture to a message by going to the "Advanced" message editor.  There is a size limitation, but a screenshot of your interface on your device should not exceed this size (1M).

If you are wondering how to get a screenshot, you will need to consult the device manual for your hardware you are using.  My Galaxy S7 Edge has instructions on how to get a screenshot, your device may have similar steps.

I'm not sure what you mean by "free space".  Yes you want to calibrate the compass in an open area, free of any possible magnetic disturbances.  The spark is pretty sensitive (really sensitive), so if it's convenient I'd find a fairly wide open field with no man made structures and no power lines nearby.  I'm not talking "acres and acres", but I am suggestion you "get out of the house".

IMU Calibration is also sensitive, in that you want to perform this calibration on a surface you have already determined is flat and level.

Hi, could you please answer the questions which I asked before? I'd like to help. When did this issue happen? Did anything happen before, like hard landing, crash or firmware upgrading?  I would recommend you try to refresh the firmware via DJI Assistant 2, see if it works.

My spark facing the same issue. After compass calibration completed. Gps signal lost when i takeoff the drone.

Did you try the advice above? Please calibrate your drone in open place. If you change another environment, did the problem still exist?

Do I need to recalibrate it again? The indicator appear green in my iPhone. But it will turn red once I takeoff.

Where did your drone take off? Please try to calibrate it again and see if it works well.

i just do repair service to DJI and surprise... that GPS Encounter issue can be fixed with replacing motor, top shell, gimbal cable etc with not connected with the issue and sent me invoice $170... for that
