That's the normal way of righting the date in other countries.  That reads Sept 10, 2017 - Sept29, 2017

I prefer to always write my dates like YYYY/MM/DD ... makes more sense to me.

Good question. Does our beta firmware just appear in the app?

I've got one of my techs coming today at 9a Pacific time for testing. Hopefully the firmware is available by then! Otherwise I will have to reschedule.

I've got a few things I would like to test right off, including the Inspire 2 stability when hovering (it is currently very unstable and does random jerks for no reason), RC and HD feed quality and reliability, and also the Goggles head tracking if that is a feature in the beta firmware.

Looking forward to giving some good info.

last night at 11;00 i saw it was saying 12 hrs but now i cant find that notification also im not sure where it will show up. maybe in dji assistant 2?

only news for me is the rewards policy in my beta dashboard.
just checked assistant with I2, still no beta visible.

Lets just wait. They will come up with instructions.

Well, all ready to start doing some testing here ... Hopefully they provide the info soon so I can schedule it for this morning. Otherwise will have to wait until tomorrow to start probably.

Lol no worries.

Just scheduling to have my tech on site to help with the testing, for recording 3rd perspective and keeping VLOS to the Inspire 2.

Not anything crazy, just need to schedule him either on a project for work or to come help for testing the beta firmware.

Funny. My response to your question (the one you thought was going to PM) is actually posted before you asked the question. Ha ha ...

Also, it seems that possibly the web server for DJI's forums has an issue with the time. Seems that the web server's time might be slow by like 5 minutes compared to whatever server has the database.

Actually feedback is always appreciated on the apps.

How do I beta test when I can't even update my drone? I just purchased a second full price phantom 4 pro. I figured I'd send the old one back to DJI to fix and in the mean time I would have this one. I just hooked it up to my lap top opened dji assistant 2 and I'm getting the exact same error message for a brand new, never flown drone right out of the box? I'm living in a nightmare.

Have you set up for a repair through our support staff? Personal message me and I can provide you more information.

So, has anyone from DJI told us where the downloads are coming from?  The Inspire 1 beta testing the posted the FW onsite? This time they are not saying anything ?

Their beta download server is offline.

Yes, based on the project dates. waiting for something from DJI to tell us how to get the software!

I am beginning to loose interest in the project and the weather has taken a turn for the worst in my area.

At list they can tell us what's going on!!

I agree it would be nice to let us know even if they do decide to not have us test the beta. I really am starting to think they are having much larger issues with this fw an dthats why we havnt heard anything yet.

anyone else notice the other day non disclosure agreement said 1 day and now yesterday and today it is saying 3 days? maybe thats there way of informing us lol

Alright, well we got our beta app, version 4.1.10.6.

For anyone who has any trouble getting it to run, you must go into Settings -> General, and then you will see "Device Management" somewhere towards the bottom, and "Dajiang Innovation TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD" next to it. You will need to tap on that, then tap on the same "Dajiang Innovation" again, and finally trust the app from there.

Anyone else getting their beta app access?

IMO Software /firmware improvements will be the way DJI will continue to lead the market;
fewer hardware changes but overall, there look to be gains in flight and imaging experience with the new approach.
