The castle of "Chinchilla de Montearagón" is located in one of the most strategic places of Spain and one of the most populated cities of the time, and, given its proximity, is visible from afar. The castle is built on Roman, Visigothic, Arab and Christian foundations, and the remodeling of the latter was ordered by the infant Don Juan Manuel, lord and prince of Villena.
For almost three centuries, the fortress was used as a prison, which is why it presents its present form. That prison housed historical characters. It served as barracks for the Napoleonic troops during the wars of Succession and Independence.
Spain is the fruit of cultures as rich as the Phoenicians, Celts, Iberians, Romans, Visigoths, Arabs, Jews and Christians. Few countries can have this crossing of cultures.

Beautiful pictures.
The video is also very nice.
Some parts were too contrasty obviously, but a very nice location to shoot.
Thank you. I wanted to give more force to the editing of this video.
Wow! That is a truly amazing location! I could spend a week there. My impression is that there are a great many underground structures there. What a history. Truly remarkable.
