I have the same problem with the gimbal of my phantom 4 pro + , i installed the last version firmware and so actually i have a noise vibration on the gimbal .
I bought my drone 5 days ago and i flyed only 2 days .
cCan you help me to do disapear noise of my gimbal ?
Calibration camera ok, IMU + compass ok, sensor ok

Its the firmware, i had the same problem with my P4P.
Did everything and at some point i managed to overcome the 50% gimbal calibration.
Now i have had
a camera hanging like dead after initializing
first photo is straight and second a bit to the right
and the buzz goes and comes randomly.
Waiting for either get the previous firmware or the latest beta.

Ok thanks, my camera works correctly and calibration is correct for 100% but only i have the noise in the gimbal. How get the firmware beta ?

I had the same problem. Returned my Phantom 4 Pro... the new one does not have that weird sound.

Probé dos PH4P y si presenta en vibración y ruido, el Gimbal le pega al ventilador cuando se ponen en posición de costado.  No es una falla, ya que, el Drone no vuela de esta forma.

Sorry for the inconvenience, our engineers are working on this. And you can provide me with your DJI account to get the beta firmware for a temporary solution at the moment.

i have the same problem as well. after the update weird gimbal noise. i don't want to send the drone to dji. can i get the beta firmware, or when will the new firmware be available. it's been a long time since the last update

OK, very good ...

Successfully installed the " BETA update" ...
the noise of the gimbal is gone ... and this is the beautiful news ...

Unfortunately ... the video is still shaking , you can notice it on the vertical lines,
like when you shoot a street lamp or a building ...
the drone is completely stationary, but the shooting is flickering ...
This also happens with the drone on the ground and with the motors/propellers switched off

anyway I'll do other tests on the camera settings ...
Certainly, the newly made 4K recording has been made shaky/flickering... :-(

I'm going to be more precise about the settings and the problem found ...
in short I will put a video about it ...

meanwhile thank you again for your support ...
the noise problem has disappeared

honestly ... the gimbal noise is disappear ... but still have some vibration ...
especially I can see it , when I finish to fly and stop the propeller ...
but ... in any case ... i have got a dji care service ... so...
I think should be better , bring my P4P at store ( DJI ROME STORE ) to have a quickly check ...

Please check if there are some sands run into the gimbal vibration rubber, the issue may occur when there is debris on the gimbal damping unit. Hold the yaw axis motor with one hand, and turn the damping unit forward, downward, left and right. See if it helps.

I also have a buzz and noise in the cardan, the rear part was also heated. After a while, the inscription gimbal motor overloaded appeared and the cardan of the camera did not stabilize horizontally.

I repeat ... your support is very useful... really useful
so finally I found time to check and fly with my drone ...

I have followed your suggestion and I can confirm that the gimbal is clean and without any debris ...
but I still have some vibration on the video recorded ...

during the video test I've changed some setting and I noted the difference when I change speed shutter setting ...
don't change when the propeller is on or off but when change the shutter setting

basically when I set shutter at 1000 the vibrations are unacettable ... very much ...
when set shutter  at 100 or less then 100 the vibrations should be ok or not to much ...   

anyway ... after your beta update that you have suggested to me ...
the gimbal have stopped to warm up and other vibrations and noise are dissapeared ...
but as already told you ... I still have unacettable vibration on video recorded due someting on the gimbal ...
any suggestion ?
already tryed to updeted on your beta firmware and back on last and back again on beta ...  nothing change ... :-(

it's just a demonstration video ... but I assure you that these vibrations are much more vibrant (embarassing )  even with high resolution panoramic views
