55,101' (round trip).  27,550.5' (8.4 km) at the most distant point.  Litchi waypoint flight but I had contact at the furthest point.  Stock P4 with a Windsurfer.  In the credits there is a screenshot of the mission with flight distance.

Thanks!  The video was edited with Windows Media Maker.  A Windsurfer is a passive parabolic reflector that slips over the RC antenna.

14km using follow me over some tracks in the Kimberley. 13km/6.5km out and back in the Maldives.

P4Pro+ 13.12km round trip. On a different flight top speed 97.6kph.

5k's or 10k return on on P4P.
6/13.5k's with my Mavic P. Occusync seems to be better for long range flight in my experience.

Phantom 4 standart

5.4km from small hill towards valley with low wind, speed ±35-40km/h
Round trip overall 13.4km

1500' for me so far.  It's kind of scary not being able to see the drone.  

My longest so far is 5.2km on a 10.4km journey.   I have lost signal on shorter flights, this one I didn't lose it once. It all depends on location, signal interference etc. P4PV2

500 metres as per my country regulations. Besides, I think that not keeping VLOS is asking for problems. In fact we have had a couple of issues where keeping VLOS distance is what saved the day. If you have your bird 3 km. away, there is little you can do if something goes wrong. And recovery is much more difficult, if your drone does not crash land.

For instance, one time the C2 radio link was complely jammed by a external signal, we can not recover it even after several reboots of the ground station, we had video downlink but that's an unidirectional separated process from the standard C2 signal used for drones control & telemetry. After all, C2 frequencies are standarised and can be recognised by any listener with other interests than yours. C2 links are encrypted but can be jammed with enough noise.

Another important consideration is that the C2 link does not degrade linearly but quadratically. When distance doubles there are 4 times a less powerful signal:

Your Litchi missions always inspire me. What I lack is the courage! I got Care Refresh to help with that, but that only works if I have a destroyed drone to turn in.

You say you had contact at 8.4 km - was that video *and* telemetry or just telemetry?

That is completely untrue, it would most certainly void the DJI warranty, as they will not accept ANY modifications to either the aircraft or the RC unit.

Well i beat my old record of 12 klms today.

I do not have any interest in those 'range extenders'. Most don't work, and those that have reasonable RF design ignore the fact the the weakest link is the antenna system in the aircraft.

Ah yep, Id be nervous using aftermarket modifications anyway
