I pulled out my Spark for the first time in a couple of weeks, and upon connecting, it told me that the No Fly Zone list needed to be updated. I tried 4 times - restarted the Spark as well, and it fails each time during the udpate process. I'm getting ready to leave on a trip and don't want the dreaded cutoff date to hamper my flying. How do I get the NFZ update to work?

Did you try with the Assistant 2 or DJI Go 4?

Go 4. I can't get Assistant 2 to connect at all.

What error message you've got? Please try to update it via a different network. like mobile data or WiFi.

Connecting to the drone without the RC in the middle made it work, I think. It got further because it actually showed update progress, were before it never got past 0%. But when connecting directly to the drone, it stalled at 20% and never move past that. I let it sit for almost 30 minutes (until the battery nearly ran out just trying to update), and then rebooted, and I'm guessing it worked because now it is no longer prompting me to update the NFZ.

I was able to get Assistant 2 to connect using a different USB cable.
