Ive been flying miniquads for the past two years, racing competitively and picked up a Spark. I love that little quad, but I always want more out of it. More range, longer flights, high FPS video for FPV Race events, Fixed wing mode, more exploration capabilities, etc.

I have a buyer willing to buy my Spark fly more with Refresh for $700, and im on the edge of pulling the trigger on a Mavic fly more combo. Is it a mature enough platform that most bugs are worked out, and there is nothing to worry about(iOS Platform only)?

Also, are the NFZ the same for the Spark and the Mavic?

Go for it, it's a great craft, lacks a little in the camera, but everything thing else is great, it's a big boys drone.

And I guess ill also ask what FW everyone is running. Ive seen a bit of hate on .1000 but .700 seems to be popular.

I'm using 1000 , you will always get differing opinions on FW updates, but I have no problem updating, think you will find some still on 400, it seems to be down to a personal choice, with FW upgrades I have only seen Mavic become a better AC.

Mavic is a great piece of flying machine.

Hey Nick, felt the same before and crossed over to the MP and by far the best decision I made. You sound pretty experience so you'll def get more from a Mavic. I'm completely stoked with mine !     

Superb capabilities indeed; I think you'll be quite impressed.

Yesterday, flew mine (round trip) 6.3 miles. Oh by the way, that's on a single charged battery.

I see you've race copters? Remember these go about 40 mph ish..I've gone 43 mph, others may have different readings.

Fast enough for me and I typically fly in (Sport) mode.

It's due back to me on Wednesday this week, dji did cover under warranty, but wait time was 9 weeks, so most of summer gone now, but had a spark which is a very neat little machine. And P4Pro which I love and using MATRICE for work stuff.

Sounds great. Will be even better once the new props are in stock. Im expecting an extra minute or two of flight and less noise.

The different drone has different functions and market positions. So it could be the users' preference to decide which drone to buy. And I personally think Mavic is also a good choice. Besides, our drones share the same database for NFZ, so you don't need to worry about this much.
