Notice how fines for Americans are always higher? Its like they literally do believe we are all made out of money. Even in the U.S. the fines aren't that steep. That's what I refer to as "the American DISCOUNT" for foreigners.

Yeah considering these days, I can just see it now how it would go over if we started fining foreigners at a different rate than citizens...good grief Katy bar the door!

The fine is for a Taiwanese guy in Taiwan. Cannot see how you relate this to being for an American?
oh well I guess if blackcrusader gets done we can always have a quick whip round to bail him out. mind you we could leave him to make new friends and have ourselves a party with the loot.

They will never find my drone flying up around 3000m plus as I know all the hidden landing spots lol So nice I can fly an an area far away from cities and airports and where passenger aircraft are forbidden from flying. So yes I fly in controlled airspace, where no planes are allowed. No height restrictions or other such nonsense to deal with. Yushan is just above where I live. South east on the map.
The minimum fine is US$10,000 the max US$150,000. I do get to lol at the drone police who come onto FB forums and threads telling me about some 400 foot rule or some VLOS rule or some no cloud flying rule.
Yes we have rules. I do not plan on breaking any. I just avoid flying in restricted areas. Simple really.
