Mavic Pro Platinum out of stock already? No batteries, no props now no drones?

DJI moderators please explain.

I was able to order it last week now it just gives you an option for email "in stock reminder"

They have probably run out of paint to re-paint the original Mavics Pro still in stock.

You may of gotten under the wire when you ordered the previous week. As demand rises for specific products, there is always a possibility that there will be a delay in getting the order out. Sorry for any frustration on that point.

It would be nice to know some time frame of when the new props will be available. You know, end of the month, end of the year, something? DJI had to know there would be a huge demand for the new props by all the existing MP out there, that are now left wondering when and waiting for the new product.

Your frustration is understandable. If you set up for one of those reminders, you will get information as the product because available.

On the DJI site last week, it was showing as if they had some in stock but then this week, out of stock (?).  

I'd be pretty peeved if I paid for it, showing as in stock then being told, nope, you still have to wait along like all the other folks waiting in-line? yikes !

Yep, naturally I have done this but still left wondering and waiting... The non-transparency with tech products from companies doesn't sit well with consumers...the more transparency allows trust and loyalty to be built.

Not yet; as Mark the Mod pointed out, even if you purchased doesn't mean you're getting the product anytime soon. In other words, you'll be waiting a while (who knows how long maybe late Sept or sometime in Oct.) I guess more will be revealed in the coming weeks.

It said it will ship approx September 25th when I ordered mine. No one has it yet.

They weren't "in stock". They were simply taking orders and now the available units are spoken for until more are produced.

That is what it said when I pre-ordered mine and why are there people hating about buying the Platinum? It's not like we're spending their money!  

I guess you have never learned your lessons yet about DJI and DJI products???

This is de Ja vue of when Mavic first came out.....

So sorry for the inconvenience, we will release on the store as soon as the Platinum restock.

I ordered my MPP  in 4th September (when I got email it's in stock). Still  waiting , my order is "payment success". I heard some news would be shipped around end of September or beginning of October. I didn't get any official voice from DJI so it's only suspicions. There is option "refund order" so if someone is impatient can clik it. I'm pretty busy at work so that waiting, is not big pain at the moment, specially I have Spark and 6 batteries

Yeah I think Ill just leave my money in there for a while, the frustration is from their CS I PMed last week and I was told it will ship out Sept 25th then I PMed again yesterday just for the heck of it and I was told October 25th and for $hit and giggles I PMed again today and they said Sept 25th again.  Im done! like you I got the Sparks + 3 batteries.  Carry on.

I had similar experience.  I'd order the Pro Platinum for a New England vacation I'm leaving for next Monday.  I was told that my order was early enough that I'd be in the first batch and that it would ship for sure on the 25th.   Now they are saying mid-October, which is too late for me.

Now they are saying mid-October, which is too late for me.  I asked whether any shipped to day, but they wouldn't asnwer that question.   If the delay were really due to unexpected volume of orders, then some would have shipped.  But, then why was I no longer "in the first batch"?  Maybe there are technical issues that need to be resolved, which means a ship date is really undetermined.

The reason I called last week was I mated to make sure I still had time to order a different drone--probably a refurbished Mavic Pro.  But, now it's probably too late unless I pay premium shipping.

And, the experience is making me think I should avoid DJI--I think they have the best products, but when I pay more than $1K for something, customer commitment is a big deal.

I cancelled the order.

Well, you just lost your place "in line.
The MPP has not even been released yet, not until next month. But the only "silver lining", is that it probably won't be flying of the shelves (sorry for pun, not intention),
for the "cost to improvement" ratio is not that great. Not like the introduction of the Mavic itself. Could not keep the sucker in stock. Took almost a year for the availability to "stabilize"

Like I said, I need it next week.  So, they lost an order.  

Then the best bet is the MP, which you can get in 2 days from Amazon.
It's not the MPP, but you will be in the air in 3 days.

Still waiting for my MPP to ship.

When will the action 2 biking combo be back in stock? Roughly how much will I have to wait?
