Hi Guys,

I'm trying to download the files from my phantom 4 pro plus and it fails to download the vision file every time no matter which flight or day I select. The reason I've wanted to have a look is that my drone fails precision landing every single time despite letting it launch 6-7m above the landing position and letting it hover before flying it out. I wonder if there's something wrong with my onboard vps model?

I would recommend you to calibrate VPS to see if it works.

The preferred way to download video files or photos is to pop the Micro SD Card out of the aircraft, place it in an adapter and insert it into your computer. Only the files on the SD card are full resolution, the ones on the monitor are lower resolution files subject to transmission glitches.

I tried to see all my data files and they never load. So i dont even stress about it

thanks I have calibrated previously and again today. It does work. So I'm not sure what the issue is.

Have a look in the Manual on P17, as well as needing to be above 7m there is also mention made that any operation of the control sticks during precision land will interrupt it and it will then just descend.

It also needs time to record the home point before take off.

yes I have read all of it.
1. enabled precisions landing I've had the drone auto take off to about 6m left it there for a few seconds took it to 7-8m left it for a few seconds.
2. during RTH I didn't touch the joysticks at all
3. I'm using a bright orange landing pad so it's very clear where it should land.
it still missed the landing multiple times.

In your original question you stated you where trying to get a 'vision file' not a log file? Toi get a log file from the aircraft, you connect the aircraft via a USB cable to your computer and download it that way.

my original question and screenshot was about the vision file failing.

Did you click the Save to Local? Select the certain logs and try again.

I'm having the same issue with a Mavic following a collision: "save to local" gets me partway there, but fails on the vision file.

You have to do the automatic/slide to take off and tick the little box that says precision landing.

What's the current version of your DJI Assistant 2? Have you tried to download the latest version in Mavic page and try again?

Try not to select to many files at the time, i found that it would fail if filesize reach about 4GB.

I found out to just take a few files at a time and then repeat until i have all the files needed.

Not sure how you intent to use the files but i believe that when you in the transfer mode you would have a USB device mounted from where you can just copy the files or folders needed without the need for Assistant to encrypt them into one big unreadable blob.
