hi,

I am going to Colorado later this month and I called BA to check their drone policy. Drones have to be checked with their attached battery. Additional batteries up to 4 can only be taken in hand luggage but have to be secured.

I would be grateful if someone can recommend options to safely pack the spark. I am thinking of buying a protective case. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Mate,

I flew through LHR, LAX & SLC a couple of weeks ago with no problems.

Took the spark in its Styrofoam case with 3 battery and the rest in the flymore bag. I carried all of this in my hand luggage.

Just get it all out and put it in the trays at security and you should have no problems.

Rules say fitted batteries can be checked in (Spark and RC)
Spare batteries have to be hand luggage.

I took the lot in my hand luggage just to be safe.

Hope this helps.

Hani, please follow the relevant regulations of battery and ask the airline for help.
