Today I received my Mavic Pro in the mail.  I charged everything, updated the firmware, and read the instructions, etc. Everything seems to be working except I cannot get a video feed.  It records video and pics with no problem, (I'm able to click the "play" button on the DJI app and view the footage). For some reason, I'm not getting a live feed on my phone (Iphone 6S), I restarted everything and went through the settings but no luck. I did come searching, but so far I haven't run across what the problem could be.
Does anyone have any clue on how to fix this?

I once (and only once) lost video feed in the middle of a flight. Given the sensitive nature of iphone data cables, I suspect that the loss was due to an intermittently flaky dji stock cable.  You might want to mentally prepare yourself for the eventuality of losing the video feed during a flight.

That is really good advice!
Many lost/flyaways seem to be caused be panic and or lack or response.

hello,

bought my brand new mavic pro fly more combo,

out of the box im having the black  screen and colorful screen error.
i tested the situation on both iphone 5s and samsung s6
i also tried changing the rc to phone connection cable still nothing changed.

is this a faulty product, need help

I had this issue as well

iPhone 13 pro

I ran into a similar issue, video feed was fine until I pressed the video record button, then video feed turned to grey screen and no video recorded.

Went thru a bunch of troubleshooting including:
force quit dpi app and restart
reboot drone
reboot controller
reboot iPhone
Tried different software (Litchi)
format SD card
Finally got frustrated and turned off cacheing, and also upload/sync photo and videos and emptied out the 800MB+ of cache in the DJI app.
Restarted the drone one more time and the darn thing started recording just fine.
Anyone have any insight?
