I’m thinking of selling my spark to help fund the purchase of a Mavic Platinum.
My question is, do I have to de-register if so what is the process?

i dont think you have to or that you even can, but i maybe wrong.   

but you should be able to just sell it and then activate your mavic pro upon receiving it..

Retroglide, sorry that the activation info of the drone cannot be disabled, but it will not affect the warranty and flight.
The folks who purchase your drone will only need to register his/her own DJI account and the drone can be used normally.

No need to de-register, who ever buys it will register it using their own sign on name/email with no problem.

The DJI Care Refresh is bound with the aircraft serial number, no need to transfer. No worries.

I am on the other side, I bought it from my brother-in-law.
I did not have any issues, however in the forum the spark  does not appear under my nickname, where for others all their DJI stuff are listed.
Is this because he registered it, so I could not?

Just to confirm, if I sell my spark which has a DJI Care Refresh bound to it.  The new owner still gets to use the DJI Care Refresh until expired.  Is this correct?
