So did anybody see that Android and iOS got updated mavic pro has  quick shots also ...dynamic home point added....which it has always been there I think they just fixed it.  I know for iOS version is 4.1.10 not sure what the Android version is it always takes a little bit for it to show up

Here is a screenshot for iOS seems like they fixed lot of things with the spark to as you could pick your own frequency! Pretty cool

I don't think so but quick shots are included which is pretty cool I knew the mavic was definitely capable of it. I don't see why they can't add panos anyway. As of right now you can do it with litchi but I'm sure in the future they might

Not dumb at all. Googled and found:

QuickShot — Videos
QuickShots help you shoot amazing footage with cinematic composition.

Rocket: Ascend with the camera pointing downward.
Dronie: Fly backward and upward, with the camera locked on your subject.
Circle: Circle around your target.
Helix: Fly upward, spiraling around your subject.

That is how it should work indeed.
I have seen lots of nice footage taken with quick shots on the Spark forum!

These are new functions added and needed to be used with the latest firmware. Please kindly pay attention to the firmware release notes on the official website and update it when it is released.
