Never heard that sound coming from a Mavic.

Did you switch it off, wait a while and then switch it back on?

Once again, Google Play is not showing this release for me.  I JUST got notified this morning for an update to 4.1.9.   Where is 4.1.10?

I suggest you to uninstall the app and install with the link in the dji website not from the google play store,  I use to have a lot of problem every Googleplay store app update but now I recive the notification to update directly via the GO4 App !!
Try to install via the DJi website and let me know if it works for you

when  will be avaliable 4.1.10 for android?

Do i need this update? I going away in the weekend and i really want the drone with me and i dont want to update, if it fails and get bricket e.t.c..

I'm updating right now (I've done a flight before update just in case hahahah)

Just updated, it took 30 minutes including three batteries.
After that I flew one kilometre in 14 minutes for testing.  It flies great!
I had previously version 01.03.800 and was very happy wit that.

The new home poit function works only in the follow and active track flight mode, because it's suppose to prevent the drone to fly back to the original T/O point if you move witht the mavic.
About the prop setting I have no clue

Doesn´t work. App from webpage is 4.1.8 ¡¡¡¡¡ older than 4.1.9 from google play.

Yes. Now I've installed the assistant and trying to update it. Guess now it does not look bad.

Yes I did a couple of times...
Now I've installed the assistant and did the last update und now I'm doing the latest one. Hopefully it will work.

App was updated (iOS) yesterday, just strated the app with the RC and AC connected, NO firmware update... Restarted the app, and YES firmware update available... now downloading...

Alright worked for me. Mavic back online!
Solution: I've installed the assistant and did a refresh on the last update. After it was finished the Mavic stopped to beep around. So I did the latest Update. It works! Maybe it'll help someone else who has the same issue.

Sorry, no beeping, just the RC vibrating from time to time and the sound of the running fan of the Mavic.

You're not the first person who had to use the DJI Assistant to do the FW update.
So far the FW update has always worked for me by simply using the RC/phone combo.

Yeah, that part sounds a bit scary. I haven't seen anyone complaining Normal mode is not vivid enough.
Well, I shot RAW for photos anyway (except when Mavic tricks me:-/) and D-Cinelike or TrueColor for video. So doesn't matter that much personally. But it is a bit scarying if DJI thinks they need to boost saturation.

It took me 23 minutes to upgrade the firmware... check settings and everything looks ok... going to fly tomorrow

WOW!  Upgraded then my Mavic flew away on it's own and came back 30 min later with a beer (Tsingtao!!) duct taped to it and an envelope for 10pc off DJI products.  A note inside thanked me for all the prior FW update frustrations...quite shocked at the improvement in customer service.

Well, "Normal" is already and counterintuitively boosting green, which is why I currently use TrueColor, which is actually the default color output of the sensor. If they renamed "Normal" to "Vivid" then I guess I'd understand.

Will the new low noise props work on mavic with older firmware such as .700? The release notes say added support for 8331 props....

First, we need to get through the login process of DJI Go 4.1.10 which for ios some have trouble with.

The app still won't let me sign in. Tech support no help yet. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times on an ipad and iphone 7 plus to no avail.  Firmware on rc and ac are are up to date. Any suggestions?

I had this problem on all my iDevices, you need to tap directly below the word "Password"

No problems here, all the latest firmware and (ios) app. Flew perfectly after all updates. Mavics are awesome! I have not had any issues with fw upgrade failing since...well... ever. For firmware updates, I ALWAYS connect USB to Windows PC, DJi Assistant with hard-wire connection to the internet. No wireless or cell phones. I read many posts about failures that (imo) could be related to the inherent flakeyness of any wireless connection. I just feel better on copper/fiber when dealing with firmware...

After upgraded to latest firmware date of Sept 19th, 2017 - V01.04.000 to both aircraft and controller.  I got the message on the controller stated "Can not take off" - I tapped this message and it shown Firmware unmatched. Called DJI.  They told me to go back to DJI assistant2 to downgrade back to revision V01,03.00 to both RC and aircraft.  After downgraded.  I still got the messages of Can not take off, Firmware unmatched.   HELP is need here.  PLEASE DONT UPGRADE to latest V01.04.000 - Meanwhile, I need HELP to resolve this issue

My first attempt at upgrading to the new firmware failed ("Update failed"). I tried again and it succeeded. I seem to remember the exact same thing happening when I tried to update the FW the very first time, after taking the Mavic out of the box a few weeks ago. Haven't flown it since upgrading. Will try tomorrow.

DJI GO 4 (Android), Goggles, RC and Mavic all updated without any problems. Make sure you update DJI Assistant 2 BEFORE updating anything else.

My (successful) experience, using the DJI Assistant 2 (v1.1.2-2) - Windows 10

Opened DJi Assistant 2. As always I get a message about no SD Card, simply push cancel until it goes away.
Plugged in my Mavic (on the previous  firmware)
Update was quick, didn't even use one circle on the Battery
Tried my other batteries, no firmware upgrade found.
Plugged in the Controller, updated
Plugged in the Goggles, updated, though did take a long time on 53%

The other weird thing was when I tried connect the controller and Mavic after the upgrades, one of my four batteries needed a firmware upgrade, which to DJI Go4  app did no problems. When updating the previous firmware (.300) there was a firmware upgrade upgrade for the batteries that the DJI Assistant 2 found, except is said I only needed to upgrade 3 or my 4 batteries at that time.

Using Android, can't find the .10 update. No sign of Quickshot in the flight modes.

Hummm....sounds like the amazing 60% noise reduction with the new props MAY BE due to the firmware....eg. DJI adjusts the firmware so that the Mavic's prop RPMs are lowered so that they are quieter.  Would be quite the scandal/false advertisement IF true.  We shall investigate since this seems VERY SKETCHY that we need to update the FW for the new props.  Sounds fishy folks.

Strange : Crystalsky firmware version doesn't allowed these new features !!

So how does the firmware know if you have the 8331 props on a standard Mavic Pro?
