Hi,
My MATRICE 100 crashed a few days back.
1. I observed that Arm-M3 broke in the crash. At that time, when I connected battery, I observed *beep* sounds from the broken Arm-M3. The LED indicator also showed "Solid Red" color: meaning "critical error".
I came to an impression: this may be due to the broken arm.

2. So, I bought a new Arm-M3 and replaced it.

3. I put back all the parts again and tried connecting the battery. I still observe the same *beep* sounds out of the new Arm-M3. The LED indicator still showed "Solid Red" color: meaning "critical error". When I called DJI, they suggested me to send the item to their warehouse.

Before I send, I want to find out reasons for such *beep* sounds through Arm. I do NOT see any clue in the user manual. It might be due to a failed ESC/flight controller.

Can anyone help me diagnose that problem? Thanks a lot for reading and giving your advice.

Appreciate your help very much.

I too am guessing ESC, do you have any more details of the crash, flight logs maybe?

I should have flight logs on my phone right. Yes, I have. Will post in a few minutes

They are .txt files, but I can not see them. Should I need a converter to see them?
A link of all teh flights I had on that day are here:

most recent flight record was the crash.

FYI: I see only 3 flights in my DJI-GO app. I do not understand why I have so many records.

Let me know if this is NOT what you were expecting!

I'm a bit confused here, was this pilot error?

The drone stopped responding to the control messages sent. And it lost equilibrium in its flight. Started trumbling down.

I think I did not answer your question correctly. Can you rephrase, probably? I can not understand "pilot error?" correctly. Sorry to ask.

Ok, I was looking at the logs trying to work out what caused the crash. I have reread your original post.

Is there any way that you can swap the esc with the other side, this may give you a clue if it is this causing the problem.

Yes. I will do that and let you know.

In between, I did the following:
I removed the connectivity between Arm-M3 motor and ESC-3.
As expected, no beep sound, and the LED indicator flashes red.  So, there must be a problem in the board controller/ESC.

Sounds like you've found the problem, let us know how you get on.

Yes. I did what you suggested.
Some interesting result:
I swapped Arm-M3 connectors with ESC of M2. During that time, connectors of Arm-M2 are left unconnected.

My observation:
I still observe the "red color" in LED indicator and *beep* sound still exists.
The "volume" of *beep* sound is reduced. But I still *hear beep* sound.

I understand that ESC for M-3 is working correctly, though I might be completely wrong.
Let me know what you think/suggest.

Is the beeping sound related to the remote and the aircraft? Is the remote linked to the aircraft?

Actually, the aircraft was NOT connected to the controller, while I was running this experiment.
The controller was not even turned-on. I am not sure if this is the problem.

Let me know.
