No drone, yet? That must be painfully desired, by you.  If you think the Phantom series are too big, take a close look at the Inspire... Haha

Man music? Yes, & I didn't even go there.  I also play. I own a Yamaha Motif XF8 midi cabled to my Yamaha DTX Multi 12 drum kit.

Sweet... I have a Roland Fantom g8 that I have had for 7 years and it totally kicks!  Best keyboard ever.  So much fun!

Well, it actually snowed in Edmonton Alberta, today...

So, I was forced to turn on my PC and fire up RealFlight Drone SIM.

thank you for sharing that website.

The last "simulator" I tried, I made the drone go up, go back, go crash.  -It took a year for me to get the courage to buy a $2000 UAV after that experience.  Thank God for the Phantom's GPS positioning.

That truly is becoming a lost art.  You see a gazillion bead and jewelry booths at conventions and festivals.  HEY, if you ever make any leather wrist jewelry with drone related artwork, please let me know in a PM.  I'd be happy to wee your list of crafts available.

When I'm on holiday I usually only take my D610 with me. Does a great job filming AND taking pictures.
I love the DOF that I get with a 35mm sensor.
I do also have a Panasonic videocamera. That does a better job filming (AF, zoom, IS etc.) BUT it is most of the time too much to carry two devices and I only take the Panasonic with me when on a 'film' mission. (I like to film trains, so when I'm doing just that, I take both).

I get the feeling that you really Love your toys... ;-)

Don't we all. That's why we have locks on the vault doors... Ha

WOW! ... Much fancier than the barebones one I made... And I have a D200 and a Coolpix P900. My F2 with Photomic DP2 got stolen in 1990 or so :-(

F2? That's a dream camera... Sorry yours was absconded.

Or an F3, even better. ;-)

I used to have a coolpix 880, with the swivel body. Great for selfies.... Ha

The cost of crashing and repairing the drones in Real Flight is minimal.

But it sure is a lot of fun. I hope that you consider a setup for yourself.

Rain or shine, it can certainly tune up your drone piloting skills.
The timed challenges in Real Flight Drone SIM are a serious flight school teacher.

Ah yes, a fine paper kite, with thin thread, for the line...

No, actually we are talking about a powerful nitro burning model.

No, I haven't... I will check it out later today though.  The Motif looked like a serious machine, but I got the Fantom because i needed an all in one solution.  It has some really good piano and AC Guitar sounds too.  I think the Motif had better sounds, but it didn't come with the studio features that I really wanted.

So now I take my DJI Phantom to take drone vids and my Roland Fantom to make the music.  I love it....

Great idea.  Good place to practice maneuvering skills.  And if you have a dog, you can entertain your pet as well.  My neighbors little dog likes to chase my P4P... but not in the house, of course.

Post process my photos in Lightroom, I often save some just for these type of days. I also often break out the books by Colin Smith @ Photoshop Cafe.

http://photoshopcafe.com/portfolio/drone/

Spend time with Kelby One or I take the Props of the drone and mess with the exposure and manual settings in App so I can learn what they do before I get out there.
Don't tell anyone, I do the unpopular thing as well today and break out a good book, magazine and even maybe blow the dust off the Bible.

Not if 'The Donald' gets there first it won't. 'War Of The Worlds' might then become a reality, all the giant plants will be displaced to 'Planet Earth'. They will then come here and suffer due to global warming, or get eaten, whichever comes first.
