anyone else get this all the time?

For me, it is just the opposite, since I made the last update, the home point is updating itself when I arm the motors!
Really weird to have such differences between serial numbers

What about the firmware? Did you install the last one if it was not already delivered with? And did you make the update of the dji pilot app?

I am also on the newest fir wares and app. Occasionally when I start the motors the home point gets automatically set, usually not. That is when I try to set manually and get those errors!

Same here. Difficulty setting point when on the ground, usually CAN set it when I'm in the hover. Had trouble today though, but eventually got it set. GPS signal strong, safe to fly GPS all good. Latest firmware.

It wont set until the props are turning

I have the same issues also when I took aout the I1 for a flight last weekend.

When on the ground, home point cannot be set, but once hovering can get the home location after a few tries. Latest firmware all update.

Pretty much happens all the time including when the props are spinning. Happened again today with the props spinning.
