Hi everyone,i was very happy and proud with my 2 weeks spark, but last sunday i had some issue with the IMU calibration, when I tried to calibrate i stuck on second step even when i move the drone in the positions required... finally after severales tries (and the recomendation of dji chat assistants to shake the drone while the calibration) i can end up the calibration. happily i restart the drone hopeful to fly agai just to see the same imu calibration required again. I already have a number case but i need a shipping address in the US, and thats imposibble to my. So i will return to amazon and recover my money back and I'll try to forget this Kafkas nightmare

Hi sparky actually i finish the IMU calibration but the problem persisting. Whats your issue?

My IMU calibration went well.  Try to calibrate your spark on a flat surface but must be perfectly level.  I did mine on my kitchen counter and it completed successfully without issues.

Do a Google search and there are many YouTube video that explain it very well.

open the spark and remove the gimbal, an im in a base that holds the gimbal, hit with a search with rubber cable on top of the IMU, it has locked the accelerometer so do not calibrate, beating 3 or 4 times you will be able to unlock the accelerometer! E-mail to contact xcopterbrasil@gmail.com

This is really interesting information to shake the drone during imu calibration. Do they recommend to shake betwen every step? I was thinking about how to make gyro calibration better, because even after calibration, the accelerometer bias goes to 0, but gyro is still aroun 10 after power on a 5 after drone heat up.
