Yesterday we attempted to fly our drone in the No-Fly Zone surrounding Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, SD. We had permission from the tower and the FFA database had been updated. When we attempted to fly we rebooted the drone several times, were able to lift off, then were notified we were in a No-Fly Zone.
Did we miss a step, like updating our drone, so it would not fly? We had permission to fly within the Air & Space Museum area but could not fly the plane for more than a few seconds before it would auto-land.
We a pretty new at this and any information you could provide would be greatly helpful.
