Mine today I got a 1400 m, and shows Weak Signal. For safety I return a little.

My max distance from remote controller aprox 5,4km.

But, our dorne is a Pro in 5.8 Ghz? Today in city flying 70 m high, with 700 m it got weak signal, and I had to return.

Are you refering to distance from remote or max flight distance.
My max flight distance so far 9588 mtrs.
Max distance from remote 4268 mtrs

I didn't understan why the difference? Its a remote right?

There are two specific distances.
1.. distance from remote.
2.. distance flown in total

Dont confuse flight distance of combined flights  im only refering to a single flight

if you are asking if mine are PRO, so no, mine are P4 standard. And achieving long distance you need to be very precise with pointing your controller directly to the drone.

Furthest Distance flown from remote was 2 miles for me then again I only owned the P4 for a few days.

I live where there is little interference in certain areas and I've flown around 3.5 miles at times. Normally using 5,8 ghz

That's straight line from the controller out. Might could go further but that is about max to have enough battery to get back safely.

I believe the FAA is monitoring this thread closely!

TUdo bem Pardal, o meu é Advanced. Mas eu ainda não direcionei bem o controle no drone, talvez seja por isso que deu um pouco de distância. Qual é o teu?

O meu também é o advanced. Quando eu tinha o P4 standart, voava tranquilamente 5km sem nenhum problema.. Agora não consigo passar de 2km, e o que mais me incomoda é que a DJI pouco importa com isso, ainda promete que vai a 7km...

Então é um problema isso com o Advanced? vou testar outro dia pra ele ir em linha reta e talvez uma altitude mais baixa, pra ver até onde ele vai. Porque da ultima vez eu estava dentro do carro, e não tava apontando diretamente pra ele. Foi até 1.400 m

Eu já testei em vários lugares, inclusive onde não tinha interferência... Depois que a DJI mexeu no  lightbridge, parece que piorou muito em relação ao P4. A única solução que vejo é desfazer desse drone.

Esse lightbridge seria o quê?

so just curious...how far should a P4A fly in an setting where there are power lines, homes, trees.  Not in the city, but not in a desert either.  I guess you could say country, but with quite a few houses, normal power lines, and lots of trees.  Distance from RC, not total distance flown.  I have been 3200 ft, flew over a large parcel of trees, probably 2000ft, height was about 200' agl.  Was afraid to go any farther.  

In my count was 4666 ft (1.400 m) but in a country with few tree, and power line. But I were inside the car, and not apointing direct to drone.

My max flight distance so far 3487 mtrs.

It is like a comparison of apples and oranges. Tell what type of drone you are using, or you have flown in open field and what kind of modifications you have been made.

Ok, my is a Phantom 4 Advanced. I wanna know if the range is not so great as the Pro?

Phantom 4 Advanced...i have only flown 3200 ft. away from remote control.  No modifications.  Drone is 2 months old.  I'm still trying to learn.  Just don't want to try and go a mile and lose it in the top of a tree somewhere.  

Flown the MP, almost hitting 34,000 feet distance (round trip on single charged batt).
