Have you tried to refresh the firmware? Besides, could you please provide a screenshot of the error message? Did anything happen to the drone before, like hard landing or crash?

I am not sure I know what your problem is. When the Mavic is off, the gimbal can lay at different angles but when it is turned on, it should straighten. Can you show us what the gimbal is like when the Mavic is turned on and sitting upright.
