We are looking at using an S1000+ for surveying purposes. I know with 11KG and 15,000mah battery it will fly for 15minutes but that is not enough time for what we would need. Yes our payload will be slightly lighter. Just looking for some info. Thank you in advance.

I use a Tattu 22000 and can get around 19-25 ish minutes. It is all dependant on what i'm flying like though, i have managed to use a 22000 in the space of 9 minutes.

I use 2 different batteries depending on what I plan on filming. I have the Ultra Power 21000 from Troy Built Models and I get about 12-15 mins but I am conservative on the low battery alert so if I pushed it I could probably get 16 or 17...then again it just depends on how I'm flying. Smee has it right as I've also gone through to low level alert in 8-9 mins...on that I was filming a motocross and there was a LOT of maneuvering and throttle. I also have the Exotic 16,000 which I use more for steady filming, meaning no radical stick input and I'll easily get 12-14 mins. My low level in flight is set at 21.6V for first alert and 21.2 for second. I've reached first level several times during high stick input but I can extend the time by backing off..all that said, battery life just depends on your flying. I dont know what times you are looking for but with the 1000 I dont know if anyones getting over 20 mins with gimbal/camera and a big battery..this is just my 2 cents and I have 2 of them (had 3 and sold one)
