Hi all, my brand new Ronin doesn't work, the motors die instantly. I've been advised by a moderator to update my firmware via a computer, not mobile. And that might solve the motor issue.

Can someone give me a link to the software I need to install on a Macbook Pro - the software from which I can update the firmware.

I have downloaded an App called ''Gimbal'' but when I attempt to install it I get the attached screenshot message.

After saving and spending my money I am pretty frustrated at this stage, surely it shouldn't be this difficult?!

Spending my time assing around with firmware rather than actual shooting and technique.

Please help.

O.K it appears I may be a clown, the problem was that I had the ''Motor Kill'' setting to on, in the assistant in my iPhone.

It appears to be working now, apologies for any bad attitude from my end.

I'll leave this here as I'm sure it's the answer to other user's motor issues.

No worry whether your issue was resolved or not. Motors not being turned on may be that the Ronin needs to be balanced which you would have to do with the software in this area: http://www.dji.com/ronin-m/info#downloads
